A Letter from the Secretary General,

​Honorable Participants,
​It is a distinct honor to welcome you to MUNZ’26, hosted at Zafer College on February 13th, 14th, and 15th. Serving as the Secretary General of such a prestigious event is a privilege that I carry with great pride and responsibility.
​My name is Volkan Ünver, an 12th-grade student at Zafer College Science High School. My MUN journey began in the 9th grade, sparked by the encouragement of Efe Erilhan, whose initial guidance ultimately paved the way for me to stand before you today.
​An endeavor of this scale is never a solo journey. I want to say a huge thank you to Elif Tunca, who is not just a colleague but a truly dear friend. Her unwavering support through everything we’ve faced together has meant the world to me. My thanks also go to Baturalp Ertaş, who has been a constant pillar of support by my side. Also I can not forget, I must recognize one of my best friends, Banu Okan; her tireless dedication and hard work have been the backbone of this conference.
​The road to MUNZ’26 was not without its obstacles. We faced numerous challenges during the preparation process, yet through collective resilience, we overcame them all to make this vision a reality. To me, MUN is far more than an academic exercise it is a community that feels like a family. I hope that MUNZ’26 offers you that same sense of belonging, providing a space where you can challenge yourselves, grow professionally, and enjoy every moment to the fullest.
​Finally, I want to extend a special thank you to my amazing academic team. Without their presence, this conference would not have been possible.

A Letter from the Director General,

Honourable participants,

As the Director General of MUNZ’26, I would like to welcome you to this year's conference, which will be held on February 13, 14, 15 at Zafer College. It is a great honor for me to serve as the Director General of this prestigious event. My name is Elif Tunca and I am an 11th grade student at Zafer College Science High School. I was introduced to MUN in the 9th grade through Efe Erilhan, which has ultimately enabled me to attain my current position. Above all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Volkan Ünver for his support in both my MUN career and my personal life. I would also like to extend my thanks to Baturalp Ertaş, he was always by my side. And last but not least, my Deputy Director-General Banu Okan, she worked really hard for this conference. While preparing this conference, we faced many challenges, but together we overcame all of them, and today this conference has become possible. For me, MUN is not only an academic event, but also an environment that feels like a family when I am surrounded by the people I love. I hope that MUNZ’26 will make you feel the same sense of family that it gives me, provide a space for you to grow and develop, and allow you to enjoy yourselves to the fullest. As I come to the end of my letter, I would like to extend my special thanks to my amazing organizing team. Without their efforts, bringing this conference to life would not have been possible. MUNZ’26 is waiting for you with incredible 3 days.
